As an Affiliate Counsel for MasurLaw, Matthew focuses on various issues related to litigation. Matthew is a Managing Partner at the Law Offices of Matthew B. Lehrer.

Matthew has substantial experience in complex commercial/business litigation and transactions, real estate litigation, personal injury/negligence and insurance law. Matthew honed his legal acumen while working for medium sized New York law firms where he was expected to assume responsibility for large caseloads from the outset. Unlike his colleagues at larger firms, Matthew was forced to learn by “doing” rather than merely watching. Upon his admission to the Bar, Matthew was immediately arguing motions before various New York State Courts. Prior to starting his own law practice, he clerked for the Honorable John Kase and for the New York State Attorney General.

Matthew received his B.A. from Indiana University, where he studied economics and political science, and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.

He is licensed to practice law in the New York State and Federal Courts and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
